Yeah, I know. But needed to build more core strength after doing some PT for some back pain. That helped.
But took my first class today. A basic entry level class.
Now, I exercise quite a bit. Walk. Lift. Take Krav Maga Classes 3 times/week. Up in age, but think I'm in fairly good shape.
But this class was hard!
Definitely has its place for increased flexibility and core strength.

All the people, especially women, I see doing yoga regularly are in very good shape. Maybe they’re on to something.
Yes yes diet is most important.

Started Hot Yoga two years ago, fully believe every guy over 30 should incorporate some sort of yoga. Aches and pains disappear and flexibility is there.

Are there any good yoga classes online (apple fitness or something) rather than going into a yoga place?

Do I need to have a bottle of lotion close?

yoga poses are hard because you’re working most stabilizer muscle holding the pose.
It’s low impact yet still super challenging

Maybe during the Downward Facing Dog?

Did her 30 days of yoga during Covid. Had back pain and the yoga helped. It's not easy for sure. I really did find it relaxing though. After a workout was done, you'd spend some time breathing just lying on the mat and I'd find myself zoning out for a good 20 minutes sometimes. I do miss that part of working from home during covid

Yoga for Beginners in the app store. Free and lets you create one custom routine to store on the app. Lots of beginner poses.

I've seen this humble several meatheads over the last 5 years.
Find a 90 minute Bikram method class near you. If you are in Baton Rouge, check out Preservation Yoga on Jefferson.

Did P90 X a few years ago. First few days were heavy shoulders and arms and I was super sore. Yoga was like 3rd or 4th dvd and I was really looking forward to a “light day” (hey … it’s yoga … how hard could it be)? That I as the hardest day IMO!
