I removed pipe from the overflow to the tee it connects too. The stopper is stuck in the tee. I have a piece i can grab with pliers to pull on it but won't come out.
I got some vinger poured on it as i read that it will help eat the corrosion(if that is what it is).
Any ideas?
Also i can't remove tee without some major work as it's set in mortar in a very tight hole.

I had a tough time envisioning what you are talking about….this may be why there aren’t many replies to your post. After some looking, I see what you are talking about. My only suggestion may be to get something stronger than vinegar to try to break up the calcium that is binding the stopper. You might try some CLR. I may even try some muriatic acid, which is available from pool stores. Be very careful tith that acid, though.
