What do some of yall recommend? My MIL bought us a cheap one years ago that has a handle which is perfect for thieves to steal, but I'm eventually going to get something a bit more permanent. I've thought about getting a very heavy one to store in our closet, or one that can be built into the wall and hidden behind a mirror.

LOL we’re on the same wavelength today, I posted earlier asking a similar question.

Amazon has a decent sized Honeywell one on sale for $70. I think it can be anchored to a wall or the ground. I might grab that one.

I installed a gun safe with shelves. Room for long guns and shelves for other items. I anchored to the wall studs. I also build a box platform, to elevate. I hate having to bend down, to retrieve items.
It was a little over $100, about 7 years ago. This is my second one, the first one I left with my old house, the guy buying, really wanted the safe.
