Brady really going out and recruiting for his system. He is not trying to plug players where they arent comfortable. Recruit to the system and then let them learn everything concepts instead of positions.

#10 TE, for whatever reason, TEs are ranked ridiculously low this cycle.

For reference, they try and morph their rankings based on the NFL draft down the line. The NFL hasn't drafted less than 11 TEs in the last couple decades, his overall ranking is low in the 400s but should be in the 250 range if they think he's a draftable TE.

He looks like he is 12, but damn he has got some quick feet for someone that size. My question is how is he only the #10 ranked TE in America?

Interdasting. I guess this is a “shite or get off the pot” message to some of our recruits

I don’t think so. I think this is a guy they really like.

He looks like a natural pass catcher with good body control and ability to adjust to bad passes. He has long arms and probably a huge pass catching radius. Once he commits he likely gets a fresh look from the rating services and I suspect he will get a nice bump.

Looks like a 1st down/red zone machine.

By “long time” do you mean January of 2019?

I guess it’s more fair to call him the #12 TE in America. 5* ATH Arik Gilbert and 5* ATH Darnell Washington are both tight ends but listed as athletes.

Can you imagine 6’7.5 250 Darnell Washington on defense though??!?

Brady can make this kid a lot of money in 3-4 years with the system he is implementing. I really see Sullivan having a big year in a similar role as to what Kole will have at LSU.

Sullivan gonna be nasty, I already know it. I dont see a linebacker or safety being able to guard him. A nice wheel route would expose so many defenders haha.

He's pretty shifty, I watched his highlights... I'm not sure if he ever lined up off the tackle... he was always split out in space, had good route running and seemed pretty athletic to be 6'7" 220+

I liked the offer to be completely honest.

Also, there is an article on his work ethic and character reputation that speaks volumes on him as well.

We might actually have a bigger Foster Monroe on our hands if he cares about the game and wants to improve

Baw has an offer from Iowa so I have no complaints in taking him. Iowa is TE-U and knows a good one when they see him

If anybody doesn’t want him they are a dumbass. This kid is insanely fluid for someone his size, has very impressive speed, can line up outside like a wr, and shows he can block. There is film of him lining up inside at the traditional TE spot and they hit him with the quick “ Richard Dickson pass “ and it’s unstoppable . Anybody who cracks on this kid, knowing Joe Brady specifically wants him is a moron. His ratings are garbage based on him being so far below the radar- and playing on the far end of Colorado. He has a lot of friends at CU- so if he picks LSU and people roll their eyes I’m coming after them . This guy in 2 years could be tremendous . You can’t just find that kind of size and athleticism every year, fellas.

Here you go NFLSU.

"PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Kole Taylor and i am a 6'6" tight end in the class of 2020 that can split out or play as a sixth blocker. My freshman year I started both ways on JV and was a backup on varsity and earned enough playing time to letter. However that was last season and it is behind us and i have very high expectations for myself this season. For example this upcoming season my main goal is be an All-Conference player, I would also like to have over 40 catches and over 750 receiving yards. As for my college goals I would obviously love to go play at a Division I school but I would play at any of the divisions. What makes me different than the other tight end recruits is the versatility I have when playing. I am able to split out as another receiver, run routes and block just like a receiver. Or I am able to be put on the line and down block a defensive end or kick the end out. I take great pride in my academics and take them just as serious if not more serious than football. This year I ended with a 3.7 out of 4 GPA and took two honors classes and a year higher math than the normal. The last thing that I would like to say is that I will work harder than any other player on and off the field and I wont be out worked on the field either. "

He's the highest rated TE left that is interested in us. He's top 10 at the position..

He is the tallest TE in the class along with maybe some other guy way down the list.

He runs incredibly well for his size from what I can tell.

Why would you not want him?

Obviously my original post and follow up were misunderstood or I worded them poorly. I was stating that the same people that make a big deal about him being ONLY a 3 star are probably the same ones that made a big deal that we let Irv Smith go to Bama even though he was a lower rated player.

I stated in the original Kole Taylor thread and in this one how impressed I was with his play and skills.
