Up until now Little Nicky has had it his way in recruiting. Tubby and Phat Phil both got lazy. Tubby got nothing out of Alabama the last couple years playing right into Little Nicky's hands.
But things are going to be different. Both Auburn and Tennnessee have hired recuiting gunslingers and will pull in some Bama players Little Nicky wants. In a state that doesn't produce enough good players to divide among other schools.
Bama will still recruit well but the days of dominating the state are over.

OUr class from last year six did not make it you are correct, but two kerry murphy and jermaine preyerar came in this jan. Two more will come in next year as red shirt sopm. The other two are playing pro baseball. Yes we well have few not make it like everybody else, but it will be ok. You act like everybody LSU offered will make it, which some will not also. Fact is nobody can get in yet and everybody has work to do. I will say this if LSU is having hard time beating bama with shula recruits, you folks better hold on when saban recruits get here. JMO

everyone keeps saying this but there were only 3 nonqualifiers(academics) from last year if I remember correctly and 3 the year before. I figured we were on par with the rest of the sec for nonqualifiers.

Alabama has had a unusually strong amount of talent in the state the last 2 years, and no pressure from Tennesse or Auburn. That will change dramatically next year. Bama will slip into the average mode they've been for the last 10 years. There is normally too much recruiting pressure within a 200 mile radius to maintain that level of recruiting. Things will return to normal for Bama, and they will still be asking themselves, when are we going to ever going to win some sort of championship. They have not proved that they can do that unless they cheat.

What I find interesting is that LSU purposely didn't recruit Lacy because he has almost no chance of qualifying for college. Sentimore has a better chance than him, but his eligibility still remains much in doubt. Yet Bama picks up these very same players, who also happen to count into recruiting rankings. Outside of Loston and possibly the Downs greyshirt I'm not aware of any possible academic casualties in this class.

My guess is Bama is gonna be 8-4 or 9-3 next year FWIW. Definitely not 6-6. I'd say they will lose to VaTech, Ole Miss, LSU (not just a homer statement), and either Tenn/SC/Kentucky (upset) in East makes them 8-4 and second in the West with only 2 or 3 SEC losses, hopefully 5-3. We'll see.

According to most of the Gumps, msot of Sabans players were playing last year when ya'll got beat by Utah and ULM the year before.

Saban can't recruit every player.
I think they will be close to 6-6, and their recruiting will take a hit as a result. Bama reached their peak prior to the Sugar Bowl, where they were formally exposed.

Alabama sucks! Saban sucks! Stupid Alabama fans think they had an awesome team this year. They had a great record but the reality is they were handed over half the games they won. Even Tulane put up twice the offensive yards. Georgia spotted 31 points out of stupidity and still almost won the game. Don't expect team to continue to just roll over for yall like happened this year.
