That's my question as well. I said this on another thread, we can take Hootie, Paris and Adams along with Voorhies and Brown.

So you don't want Battle?

Adams will be LSU as it stands now.

As far as Hootie, I don't agree with our stance but I'm ok with it. I think he's too good a talent to pass on but if I had to choose one guy to pass on it would be him, at least as it concerns the current possibilities for S and LB. Adams is a no brainer, Paris is a no brainer, Voorhies is a better football player and Battle might end up the best of the bunch. At LB, Young is a better LB and fits more what we need at the position over Hootie. While I would take Hootie in a heartbeat, he is the least important of the group imo. The fuss is only made because of where he lives

Solidify Adams first. If there is room at the end for hootie then take him. Let others learn that when you close the door sometimes it doesnt open back up.

Only so many spots available for DB's in this class. The fact that they play different positions doesn't matter.

We do need some OL..maybe he could start pigging out

Seriously something could happen for reasons most here don't know...including me?

Correct and also perception as it concerns the recruit. We know they play different positions, the coaches know, the kids know and other schools know but, and a big but, Adams was told he is the priority at S and told he would be the last S to finish the class, at least that is what is reported, so taking Hootie without his blessing could turn him off and provide ammunition for UF, OM and Texas to use against us even though they know as we know that the 2 play different positions. It doesn't matterwhat you know, it matters what you believe, in Adams case, and what you can sell, in other schools' case. Lying does take place in recruiting. In fact its probably a huge part of it

Adams an LSU lock. Hootie is trying to work his way back into favor with staff.

what ever safety position they played in high school has nothing to do with what they will play in college. Both could easily play either safety position.

Not to mention there is very little difference in the two safety spots in Chavis' scheme.
