figured as much…
Cam's recruitment is so close to the vest, with very little actual info coming out, that's it's a crap shoot at this point…
you could make an argument for both sides to land him… two lynch pins, however, that COULD sway him are Harris and Hootie… if Harris gets in his ear enough, and Hootie verbals for LSU, i think the writing is on the wall…
North LA guys can be tough, tough gets for LSU… the sense of "state" isn't quite the same as it is down south…. it's hard for anyone to pick an elite athlete from right under our nose, but north of, i'd say, Alexandria, sometimes, it could go either way….

One WM guy that LSU wanted went elsewhere. The 10 others all chose LSU.

true, but i'm speaking about the entire region, Alexandria and up… you can't just rely on that ONE school in N. LA, because if they don't have talent, you are fricked if you can't recruit from the other schools up there either… that's my point…
and please spare the "ones we WANTED" bullshite… some we didn't evaluate as well, and they went on to be good players elsewhere, where some we pulled and they weren't as good… for example, i'd love to be able to trade out Nic Jacobs, who ain't even fricking here anymore for Devall…

Bama wants Piersbacher as a Guard, not Tackle.

alabama already has 4 offensive already committed. I'm guessing their trying to sign like 6 ol.

I know right now we're only going after CR for OL for the rest of this year because of last year's pull. But if bama misses out who do they go after? I know the rtr loser said bauer? But are bama really going after him?

hot damn you can always count BuccWild to drop the knowledge on Louisiana recruits. Still waiting on that Harris to AU stone cold lock tho

either way, what i'm saying is still applicable… for LSU fans to see Bama trying to pull another OL, regardless of the position, it's not like it helps us out all of a sudden with Robinson,…
that's what i'm trying to get at… it's going to be a battle to the finish for his signature, regardless of who Bama gets verbals from in the mean time...

Same difference. Cam's probably got a good bit of family that have lived in and around West Monroe so I'm sure he's spent a fair amount of time their. And the whole he'd already be committed to Bama if he still played for Quachita is bullcrap. Last time I checked Quachita is still in Louisiana and the local pressure would be the same.
And a quick question Bucc. How many players will Bama take this year? I've seem that some predict y'all getting 10 more finishing at 26. Can you predict who those will be? TIA.

No I don't think Bauer would flip or it would take a whole lot
Saban already has the backup plan or maybe the short term RT answer with Dominick Jackson (JuCo manbeast OT) and we also signed Greene last year
Only other guy who I feel could be as competitive in the SEC at LT is Damien Mama and in the end the distance (from Cali) might be too much

It'll be 10 more with our newest commit Holcombe possibly being a Bryant Scholly (not counting toward the 25 or total numbers until he either plays or 2 yrs)
So yeah I'll give it a shot:
Ross Pierschbacher
Jordan Sims (I hope)
Davion Hall
Raekwon McMillan
Rahsaan Evans
Ronnie Clark
Marlon Humphrey
Cam Robinson
Racean Thomas
I'm gonna leave a space for one no one expects or knows about (Bama pulls a guy every yr no one expected 2 weeks before NSD - so that is what the space is for)
My best guess today

I am not sure this means Bama thinks they are not in as good a condition for Cam Rob as before.
I believe their coaching staff feels OL is a high priority for their 2014 class and they should pursue as many as possible, just like LSU is pursuing several DB's and wide receiver types.
