We should send Rohan Davey's mom up to South Carolina to have a heart-to-heart with Mrs. Burch.

Is it really that far fetched that a student saw him out and talked to him a bit?

Away from coaches and other players? Yes. Yes it is.

Dude they go to restaurants and parties and clubs. They don't shelter the recruits on campus. Even if they did, you could bump into someone and strike a conversation.

Where are all you clowns coming from?

We have had an influx of new posters this year that seem to be recruiting gurus that don’t know shite, copy and paste info or regurgitate rumors, claim to be friends with recruits, call out recruits for not immediately committing and tell everyone here how they should feel and act about recruits and recruiting.

Why would he confide this in a random LSU student lol

Are you saying you know Burch so well that it is beneath him to converse with anyone around him who attempts to engage him in conversation? Or that he wouldn't give an honest answer to someone other than a professional who gets paid to ask those kinds of questions?

Friendly conversations with random people are pretty normal if you aren't an introvert, and some people are exceedingly open and honest.

Why would he tell some random student such a thing? Probably because it is true and he can tell the random student isn't some Recruiting Analyst, and no harm could come from him giving a straight answer.

You ever say something to a customer or client, or were too honest and too frank because you thought you were having an innocent conversation? He's a kid, not some trained professional coached on when to speak and when to be silent and who he can and can't talk about ___ with in ___ circumstance.

You act like its unheard of "that he would do such a thing" as give an honest answer to a "random nobody", when in all actuality, it probably happens multiple times per day in the most organic of ways.

all teams on USCe schedule this season who would be able to successfully contain Burch

Didn't seem to bother Jadeveon Clowney.
Good is good. Ed Oliver dominated at Houston last year on a mediocre team and is still considered one of he best prospects coming out of college. With all the TV contracts, he will be seen.

I do agree with you, but I think the point that everyone is making is that Khalil Mack played for Buffalo, never really heard of him until the combine. Chase Young balls out at OSU and he’s a heisman finalist and projected as the number one player in the draft(he won’t go number one because Cincy needs a QB). So playing on a high caliber team definitely increase your exposure.
