Well pretty much every Auburn insider is saying Jones to AU. We'll see.

No one is posting anything official... which means it's probably something Jones has said.... which could be either true or a joke. As soon as someone finds out the slightest hint of something concrete, they'll post.

Choosing a family reunion over your only opportunity to work out in front of, according to you, your lifelong favorite school is not reasonable to believe. If you are correct and he really wanted to go to LSU, then it was a HUGE mistake made by the kid.
The truth is that this kid lives in Arkansas (albeit close to the state line), and decided that a family reunion was more important than going to camp at LSU. Let's not pretend that this kid is a can't miss stud. He's not. It's pretty damn reasonable that they decided to focus their time and effor on other DT prospects. Guys like you who are bitching about this are simply using 20/20 hindsight.

Exactly. My guess is that his priorities were in fact in order, and he didn't show interest in LSU. Add given that he's not a guy that's worth spending a ton of time to try and convince him otherwise, the staff moved on.

Didn't we have two camps he could have attended? Even if you're of the belief that the family reunion was the correct decision, there still would have been another session to attend. Also, the camps are for more than one day and it isn't unsual at all for some players that are being recruited to only participate for a day or two. I doubt the family reunion was 3-4 days.

This has 0 to do with Hunter. How am I using hindsight when I've said for over a year that Jones wanted to go to LSU? How about when I said last February that he was entertaining moving to Ruston or West Monroe to get the LSU offer? Preemptive hindsight? I'm sorry let me be as blind as you. Woohoo we got a DT that will never touch the field while ignoring a great talent!!! This is what dreams and championships are made of!!!!!!!

He didnt contemplate any move. Wanted to go to lsu contacted lsu 3 weeks ago. they acted like they had only one precious schollie left and to send them a highlight tape. go play with the camp boys all you want. the next 3 4 years tiger fans are gonna see a lot of him and the santimore????? kid from Destrehan.
