Agreed, but he needs to find that dawg inside of him. Once he does, he’s got everything else.

Along with injuries, there were personal matters. I think his focus was off. Also, our blocking scheme was arse. It took just as much effort to avoid our Oline than it did to avoid defenders.
We lined up with a fullback and clear path with Durham one time all year and he took for 50 yards.

Why would you want to leave?
LK prioritized Berry over him and maybe he’s upset about that. And he still has no OL to run behind

The rb coach is here now for good. They can talk about the real plan. Durham and Berry are both very versatile. Durham has the edge on blocking. He deserves a heavy load of work.

He works on vision and he will be a problem but that can be coached and he has a better coach now. He would be silly to leave at this moment

Have always liked Durham but he seemed to lack vision at times last year.
He didn't need vision last year. The defenders were so close and easy to see.

He needs drastic upgrade on his vision. Both sides have met with him and Durham was not as receptive. The reason this even developed was due to the initial plan fell through. We need another back.

He averaged more ypc than Berry and had a really good freshman year before injury. He’s less of a liability fumbling the ball and blocked better last year, but that could be due to an extra year in the system. This year will be a new system to everyone so that may even that out. I’d love to keep him, but he definitely has had lingering nagging injury issues in his 2 years that have clearly slowed him down.

Lacy is a much bigger dude. Longer, bigger frame.

Lane could have a very successful run game with Durham and Berry splitting the carries. Both very talented and both could excel in Lane's run game. Berry needs to add more weight and get better at ball security. Durham just needs to get back in the film room and work on his footwork and eyes. His freshmen year his vision was excellent. The two of them would be scary to watch especially if Berry can get his weight between 205-210.

Better health and better coaching mixed with his experience going into yr 3 I think is gonna be big for Caden.. The young man looked like a future NFL back his freshman year..

I hope Frank never steps fool on the LSU campus again except as a visitor, Him and Davis leaving was the best thing that ever happened to the LSU running game.

He was projected to be the leading rusher in the SEC this past season based on SEC media. Lingering and new injuries, a bad scheme and horrible blocking wrecked that. If he comes back healthy and with a better scheme from Weis and Lane he should do well. He is our most complete back.
His FR season he showed the ability to bounce runs outside and escape tackles, run through tackles and get tough yardage, block and hit a second gear when in the open. He's a quick, compact, powerful RB that just needs to get healthy and a better scheme/blocking.
