Sorry everyone......I'm back, but idk if CJ is visiting or not. Its only Monday and rumors will run wild through the course of the week. Just don't pay attention
Thank you for freeing me admins
Wb memphis! Me and Brageous were the only ones that got to post in my "Free Memphis!" thread in Help before it got whacked.
Figured you'd be back before long anyways.

How successful was Ole Miss during the PWilly years. It seems like that video Old Myth fans play over and over with Justin Vincent is your national championship highlights. Also, thinking OM is a better fit for him because of a couple extra hours driving distance is retarded. Go play with yourself while the big boy football teams skull frick your rebel black bears.

The last time in the last 7 years or so I remember yall skull fricking us was 2005.
Hell yall had to make a last minute drive this year to win at home against a 4-8 team.

Does the Chief do much recruiting? Seems like his reputation as a LB coach would be a strong draw for Johnson to sign with LSU
This is what is so confusing.

The UT fans all told us that The Chief wasn't a great recruiter when he came here. Seems like that's been proven true.

Whether we made a last minute drive are not the key to the statement is 4 and 8 and home for christmas are 11 and 2 and in dallas celebrating another bowl championship.

Both valid points. However, when was the last time Ole Miss played in a nationally relevant football game? It had to be 2003 against you know who and you also know who won the that game.
Ole Miss has not been a nationally relevant football program in 45+ years...since integration. While I still think Nutt, on average will get Ole Miss bowl eligible almost every year, Ole Miss will never be a nationally relevant program...it is just not in the DNA.

Can we not turn this thread into general LSU vs Ole Miss smack talk? Please take that to the SEC Rant and keep this on recruiting.

Wow, I didn't know that Ole Miss quit on CJ after he committed. You make an interesting point about us staying with him and that may be the lone reason for him making a trip to BR. I think it says volumes about Miles if we can get CJ down here on a visit. If Miles closes hard and picks him up we stole the jewel of Mississippi.

I'm sure someone's already responded to this but here goes: Baker, Minter, Barrow and Maclin just to name a few. Very doubtful That Johnson would start as a true freshman. Good enough to see the field? Yes, judging from his film. Better than the veterans listed above, right now? No way.

I call BS on this you are thinking the Les Miles way. If a true freshman has a noise for the ball you start him right away!See patrick peterson for this. Sad to say i don't think currently we have any people at LB that have a noise for the ball maybe CJ does but we may never know until CJ plays a game for ole miss
You're saying that if he is a hardnose football player that he's going to be able to step in and takeover for shep??? takes more than football smarts to be mlb. no doubt he'll play a lot is certain packages but he better be on campus NOW if he wants to be able to lead that lb core. IMO

Is it safe to say that since Monday is winding down and we havent heard any official work that CJ has canceled, that this is probably just some wishful thinking on the part of some OM reporters?
If he had firmly decided to cancel as this thread mentions, LSU should know by now, as should we.

exactly as I said.
Ole Miss quit recruiting CJ.
He stated it himself numerous times.

Probably wouldn't hear anything until Wednesday. I think it will become a lot more clear tomorrow or Wednesday.
I think Miles has an in-home visit with him Tuesday, with Nutt following him on Wednesday

Nutt trying to get the last word. If Miles can convince him to come this weekend, we'll get the last word.
I hope.

Les already had his in home last week. CJ will be visited by Mullen tomorrow or Wednesday with Nutt visiting the following day.
