He’s likely being brought in to be the backup, even if he can make it an interesting battle. But he has the skillset that fits this offense. He’s also been offered by other P4 programs like Michigan and JMU likely wants him to be a starter, so it isn’t just our staff that sees potential in him.

Interesting tidbit about Elon University - their president, Connie LeDoux Book, is from Louisiana and is an LSU alumna.
