Man I got news for yall. Whoever opens the check book more is getting this kid. You can tell by his actions he is wanting the most he can get. LSU needs him but to pretend this is about anything other than money is just lying to yourself.

These guys don’t really care about the things fans care about.
I don’t blame them. As long as they have the ability to make millions of dollars playing college football they almost HAVE to take it unless they come from means. Nothing is guaranteed, not the nfl, contracts, etc.
So if a guy can go to two places that have a relatively equivalent ability to develop him into a maximal earner, a million dollars difference is still huge at this point in his life.

Yes, exactly you're starting to catch on
In reality, Lanning is probably.going to the coaches convention in Houston today; wasn't gonna be able to host Seaton anyway, and ATL not too far out of the way to make a last ditch appeal.

If he doesn't come to LSU it isn't going to be for a lack of trying. I can live with it. It's just good to see that hunger back. Lane has the eye of the tiger and I'm here for it.
I was always jealous when I heard stories about other HCs like Urban Meyer and Saban lurking in bushes and hiding in trees waiting to jump out and recruit a player outside their home. Now we have our own maniac. Seaton probably checks under his bed for Lane.
