He didn't say Hunter. he said the in-state kids.

We had jackasses on here yesterday talking about going after the "lesser" recruits.

I am sure Wright, Fobbs and Reed will appreciate this shite.

In one of the other threads, a Vol post was saying Hunter was a set up from the beginning. Said he was a signing day flip for Lane Kiffin (just like Janzen last year). Said once Dooley came in, he doesnt play that shite and made him go public with his commitment to UT.

I dont know if this is credible or not but its interesting.

Distance is pretty important.

Agreed. I was referring to people only in my post, but of course there are other factors, distance being a primary one.

that old man really is senile if he believes that. maybe he should look to the on the field product we had this year and the wizard behind it who was allowed to keep his job.

If Hunter goes to Tennessee, it is because he wants to go there, not because of a message board. Tennessee has had all kinds of bad publicity, and their first two choices for head coach turned the job down. Nuff said.

it could have been a multitude of things that caused this young man to drop lsu. if could have been he has a tv, and sees all the playing time he could expect for the next 2 or 3 years. he may have seen our offense, our coaching staff showing off their spike formation. hell, if probably wasn't any of that. he must have been hostessed !!!!!!!!

I don't think negativity among the fanbase is a major issue with recruits, but it certainly doesn't help.

Imagine that you are trying to decide which coaching staff to spend 4 years with, hopefully being developed for the next level. If one coaching staff's own fans has no confidence in the coaches and constantly bashes them, do you not think that would affect your decision a bit?

Here is my take. I don't want any players that don't like LSU. They need to come for the university, not the coach. I know most don't do that, but that is what needs to be done.

If you're not a tiger, you are tigerbait.

i understand that and all.

but when you face the prospects of being coached in a gary crowton offense, you need to re-evaluate your position and commitment.

yes, the idiots that constantly bash our program on here and say all this gloom and doom definately plays a factor.

he committed to a school that rioted in the fricking streets...

Im pretty sure it was the whole 112th in the nation thing...as well as an unsettled QB position...If I'm a wide reciever im def looking at other programs...hell three of the most talented wide recievers in the country didnt even sniff 1000 yards...

I bet they visit more than you think trying to get the lowdown on actual facts instead of the view thru rose colored glasses of recruiters.
I'm sure if recruits don't know about TD, opposing coaches are quick to introduce them and ask do you want to play for this mess.
Some really good material to use against LSU over on Rant. It's so bad I hardly visit it anymore.

Sorry Dandy D! Here ya go D..........

LSU recruits disregard all this grumbling by us long time LSU fans. All is well. No concerns here. 13-0 in 2010... here we come. Whew, I can picture Miles flanked by air-raid Capt. Crowton lifting the national title trophy as I type.

Pssss......to all fellow Tiger fans, shhhhh! Maybe if we just shut up and go away we can trick the recruits into coming here and maybe Crowton can do NOTHING AGAIN with another haul of TALENTED recruits like the one's we've done little to nothing with last year.

I posted this on the Rant and I'm putting it here:

IT DOES PLAY A ROLE. I know this for a fact. I will just leave it at that.

I'm guilty of it too.
