I'm on it too.

One thing to remember though is Thomas did come back from a severe knee injury. He might not have had his full wheels at that time.

Regardless, #9 is big and fast. My initial guess is Josh Shirley, who signed with ucla. That's just a stab in the dark.

Uh, what about #25 for Crenshaw that ran him down on the first punt return? He was bigger than #9 and was faaaaaast.

Word on getting is that it is Charles Jefferson from Culver City. Kid was about 6'3", 205. No information on him in Rivals database. He was a 2009 graduate.

That was from Mamba's Sophmore year. A couple of people were at the game, and said that is when he tweaked his knee (which led to ACL tear).

I.e. don't make too much out of it.

I saw lots of speed, cutting ability and vision. Nothing in that video displayed any power or balance. I like seeing yards after contact in running backs. Trindon had a similarly impressive high school video where he outran and outcut all the competition and could score untouched from anywhere on the field. Since he is taller than Holiday, he could maybe play CB or WR if RB doesn't work out. I highly doubt he will be the #1 RB when offers start rolling in.

I am pretty sure his best frind or someone very close committed to USC this year. With thatbeing said, when that happens, most don't follow.

What about the kid wearing 25 for Crenshaw? He showed some serious speed on the second or third play of the reel.

Dude, what were you watching?

He flat runs someone over, and tackle breaking in a highlight tape is very overrated, you dont break alot of tackles when nobody can catch you.

Whoever your saource is must be blind! Mamba made a double cut back and exploded thru the hole. Watch it again, #9 is Way outside causing the original cutback and had to reverse his field twice then ran him down big time.

Not saying anything except Mamba was very fast and got caught by a big fast dude. I noticed Mambas "tweaked" knee didn't cause any of the other 10 guys in white to catch him. He was hauling arse.

Mamba's a beast no doubt. I still like Clowney and Wilder ahead of him in rankings though. Malcolm Brown will be tough to beat as a RB and I'm not completely sold that Mamba is better than Aaron Green from Texas with a similar style. I also like George Farmer as the top Cali player personally. Doesn't take anything away from the Mamba, some SoCal university will be very happy with him signing. 5* lock.

DeAnthony Thomas just ran a 10.99 100m at the Texas Relays. This will not help his ranking.

Me too. A lot of SC fans wish we would offer Green. We would almost assuredly be in his top 5 based on quotes of his from some of the sites.

Question for those on here. What do you think of Brendon Bigelow? Comparable to Thomas? LINK

He was invited, along with a lot of other HS track athletes.
