Add 247 to that list of bumping Bama recruits. I like 247 generally but cant make sense of their Team rankings. Scout ratings are most logical by year end every year. Scout has more evaluators, a system that makes mathematical sense, they actually include every player in your class, etc..Rivals is a joke IMO. They left off 3 lsu commits last year and have no scouts soley in la.

Just look at the schools that offered him including bama. He is still only a 4star. Think he would have jumped or was about to jump to a 5 if Bama would have been his choice. Sure they are are always gonna have a banter year when Rivals is keeping score.

Good get, but whats with people not thinking we will hold some of these guys down. Sure you can sau ill believe it when he signs to every player, but its not like we are the only ones to lose out on oos guys. In fact we hold onto a lot more than we lose. In 07 our whole team was split 51-49 in favor of oos commitments. Cant win a natty wit la talent a lone. Alot of the fan favorites inder miles were oos guys.

He may be the top player in this class if we hold on to him. Read a couple of previous pages and people mentioned concern about Urban and Ohio State...while you can't discount CUM, IMO it is Michigan and Wisconsin that will be the biggest threats. I have been following Pocic closely and I am very surprised that he committed like this at this time...it did come out of the blue.

I think its a some what natural reaction to think an OOS kid from a different region of the country (IL, CA), with no ties to LSU or La will be shaky until he actually signs. But you are right, that's probably the case with a lot of schools and more often than not, they may stick. Would be nice if there was an early signing period though instead of waiting until Feb.
Still an amazing sign of how far the LSU program has come in the last 20 years.

I'm not scared that we won't hold onto him, but it is Urban's style to wait until a guy is committed somewhere before he heavily pursues. It's so he only has to compete with (and bad mouth) one school.
I basically saw his name mentioned, and wanted to make sure and tell everyone how much of a shitbag I think Meyer is. Basically in the hopes that if we rehash the old stories of his shitbaggery they will continue to hamper his recruiting efforts. I really think he's one of the worst people in the coaching profession, if you haven't gathered that.

This is one kid that likes the boring LSU offense. He is a road grader who wants to punish defensive linemen by driving them six yards past the line of scrimmage. He'll be a boss at keeping drives going in the second half of games. La'el, Vadal and him plowing over guys helping backs get first down after first down. Then we spring the play action on them and BOOM! It ain't boring any more!
