x infinity...the coaches felt good abut Trent Richardson but we were never really "in it" with him. He only really talked about Bama and Florida. If we don't get Seastrunk in 2010 the coaches dropped the ball big time not going after a guy who WANTED to be here badly in Michael.
Right. Because Louisiana has no quality runningbacks coming out next year.

Correct...and I hope that wasn't sarcasm...because we really aren't having any elite RBs coming out of LA next year at this point.

Dude why are you worried about a 16 year old kid looks? I bet you were teased about your looks as a child.

was thinking the same thing! That would be like us leaving RR alone because we had Kenny Bell committed!

Yeah...or it could be like this past year when they got Gilbert and left Shep alone. Now would they completely abandon Lache? No, but if they had 2-3 running backs already committed it would make them less attractive to him and they wouldn't need to pursue him as aggressively.

Why would you make fun of a kid that appears to have some sort of deformation on the left side of his face?

would we really want Ridley, Ford, and Michael? Dont all three bring the same goods to the table.

Murph, Shepard(in certain pkgs), Ridley, Ford, Calhoun should give us everything we need through 2010, we have time to land another stud next year.

If Michael wasnt what the coaches wanted, he wasnt what they wanted. Just cause we lost one does not mean we sign one up we dont want for four freaking years (poss five).

Texas already has 2 WR commitments....which could strengthen LSU's position w/ Trovon Reed.....which might also help land Seastrunk.

I'm just sayin'..............

Lets look on the bright side. LSU is the type of school that has four star backup plans. We are in a good position. Just like not getting Jackson, Richardson, and Debose won't be the end of LSU, not landing Seastrunk won't be the end. Eventually, if some top recruits don't come here one or two years in a row we will have a gap and then the next crop of kids will see an immediate roll in the program and bam, we'll land a huge five star, ie PP last year.

Glad to see that Aaron Benson, Tony Hurd, Kurt Killens, Trovon Reed, Lache Seastrunk, wasn't among the commitments.
