We're coming at you sideways because it's completely illogical that we wouldn't be taking a QB in 2019 and are totally baffled why Finley's dad would supposedly make this statement. LSU did everything that they promised,” David Finley said. “They came and told TJ the truth. They went and told TJ we’re trying to sign the quarterback from Ohio State (Joe Burrow). If we get him he has two more years of eligibility and we won’t be looking for a quarterback in 2019. If you commit to us you’ll be able to come in as a freshman and win the job. When they got the transfer-student, everything fell in place for TJ there.

Which is what I was alluding to in my previous post. I'm still not on board with us not looking at a 2019 QB. Just not a good move. If Finley thinks he has the stuff he can compete and win the job. Competition breeds excellence.

He does realize not taking in a QB in 2019 would mean taking another QB in 2020.

A) if they keep the promise, it is indeed stupid

Hello. I am bringing Quad, Jason Eli Jones, Jaylen Mack, and Trenton Yowe down for camp. Jayson Eli Jones is not going to be camping, but will visit the campus for the first time and meet with the staff. His Parents are coming on down Sunday to do the same.
As far as Quad is concerned, this looks to be a culminating event of sorts. Everything communicated to us is that he's coming to throw for the offer and spend more time with Coach E. This is to be the last unchecked box from our understanding.
With that, I will post how it goes the night after the Camp.
