His problem is his stride length, look at his film. It takes him3 steps to go 5 yards whereas faster players only take 2. It may sound small but it's a huge difference.
This pretty much illustrates how little you understand about the running back position.
A short stride is an advantage for a RB. To criticize a guy for not being a long strider as a RB is ridiculous.

"athlete vault has him as the #43 player in the nation and the 7th RB for the class of 2011"
so this is your evidence of people with "respected opinions" saying he's the best back in the country and a top 20 overall player? Kinda sounds like you proved my point for me.
and for the guy with the brilliant "stay in texas" remarks.....nah it's just not worth it. Hillbilly homers aren't deserving of a response from me.

he'll be the best fullback LSU ever had
love to the know the last time a fullback held the career state rushing record (which he will own barring injury next year) and especially in a big football state like Louisiana. This kid is an absolute animal and he will jump in the rankings as he attends camps and senior season plays out. 4.7 isnt slow plus hes not a burner type back, he probably has excellent "football speed."

I'm extremely happy that we got Kenny Hilliard. He's really special.

Emmitt Smith watched his draft stock drop after running a 4.7, and yet history will continue to remember him as one of the great running backs of all-time.

I doubt Ron Dane ran better than a 4.7 and he only turned out to be the most successful college back ever.

Neither do I, so I don't really know. But there are only 368 players who made the watchlist, so I would guess that the majority of them are offer-worthy.
