I’d have just as soon kept MVB for cheap instead of spending to get Lagway. MVB has similar completion percentage, a better TD:int ratio, and runs well. He’s not good or accurate, but Lane’s system would hide some of that.

I wouldnt mind him, Napier has never run an offense that featured a great QB....so I am not sure he couldnt be developed into an outstanding QB. Maybe I am wrong about Napier but nothing jumps off the table. Dart had a 132 rating at USC with 9 td to 5 int. and finished with a 180 his last year at Ole Miss.

Lagway was a 127 passer rating, he has some tools and some maturity. There are worse ideas,

I dont think he is worth what he may think he is worth though.

Take Lagway and Clark and we're set. Let them battle it out for starter.

Maybe you should keep up. As of about 10 minutes ago, Lagway hasnt signed and has said he wants to take more visits.

Very much disagree with this. This is an oversimplified take I’m assuming based on him not being a guy you’d expect him to call designed runs for. Look at the type of throws Lane’s offense sets up for big chunk plays, and go watch a highlight of Lagway’s best throws. He could very much cook in Lane’s offense, we could have a deadly vertical passing game.

I’m still a Lagway fan. IMO he’s the perfect buy low candidate. The turnovers can be considerably fixed with some real coaching. I also think he played a bit too heavy this year which will affect mobility. Really my only concern with him is the consistent injuries.

Just saw the Thamel report saying Lagway is planning more visits before committing to Baylor. Seems interesting because he posted COMMITTED to Baylor 2 days ago. The Pete Thamel post says Ole Miss has kept pursuing Lagway. If so, seems LSU and Ole Miss could be deciding between Deuce and DJ. Preference?

oh I get it. No one is saying he is good now, but he has tools that most don’t have.

I understand the point, but I feel like Lagway has been in college for 9 years and 6 different teams, and still sucks monkey cock.

Obviously im exaggerating, but I feel he should have realized he had talent by now and just figure this shite out.

Honestly I think the only player I watched that was more disappointing to watch was Underwood. The two of those clowns played horribly.
