So, if Slade was your kinfolk and signed with Bama you wouldn't pull for his team?

Although your question was directed to Cincinnati, I can answer from my own personal experience. My younger brother was a highly recruited QB out of HS, and signed his LOI with Ole Miss. During his RS FR year, I visited him twice in Oxford. Once to help move him in, the second time was when LSU was playing at Vaught-Hemingway. During the game, my parents sat with the Ole Miss parents, and I wore a purple shirt and sat with the LSU fans. I was NOT cheering for UM, even with my brother on the team.

JJ is who I thought he was.

How long has he been at west ridge?
The op doesn't sound like him from my encounters with him, but if he is seriously willing to drop a dream he's avidly followed for his entirely life (his words not mine), then frick him. He's a bandwagoning douche and bandwagoners really are the scum of athletic fan bases.
Hope slade gets processed out right before NSD.
Or after a couple of seasons so he's used up some eligibility.

To be fair, with the way JJ was quoted, it is obvious he doesn't like LSU, just thought his family member was coming here. Now he is saying, more or less, he wishes he had been cheering against LSU than for us all these years.

Just like the JRevonte situation, it is better that people who are that close don't post here because as much as they pretend they are LSU fans, they are just fans of where they think their kids are going to play. We really don't want to fuel those types of people because they will definitely be talking to other recruits and sure, for now it may help us, but later it may hurt us.

If the JJ quote is real, it would be better he not return. I don't see how he could be a positive source of information for LSU moving forward.

Correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't JJ27 been one of the most consistent non-biased posters on here? I've attempted to challenge him several times and his responses were solid.

To clarify, the quote is out of context. The Bama good years line was followed with this It was a joke. The post was also a reply from a previous conversation where I said, "I just can't put that A by my name. At least not for a year, until Slade is there." I never said I was switching allegiance. I was talking about the icon next to my name. In the time that I've been here, I've had roughly 10 different icons. LSU, TCU, USA, Saints, Tech, ULM, along with whatever we were switching it to in hopes of that team winning and helping LSU in the polls. It's crazy to me a thread was started and has gone this far because I said I would change my icon on TD.

Have a great Labor Day. Get out and enjoy your family.

Have to agree with you on this one. It is a royal pain to see some of the local kids going to the enemy. I have lived in and for the most part followed West Monroe for the past 26 yrs. and I can sadly say there has been a HUGE "jumping on the gump bandwagon" around here. Local (Monroe/West Monroe) radio stations don't even carry our beloved Tigers anymore. Been listening to them since I was 13. Yet they DO PLAY ADS for that university. It has slowly eaten away at our fan base and followed on to these kids. Sad to see. When I was there age EVERY boy's dream was to wear Purple & Gold. I will ALWAYS bleed Purple & Gold.

My family member could sign where they want. I will love them and support them but I don't have to agree with their lifestyle choice.

It's all good. Only REAL LSU fans would see the problem. But just to clarify, I'd wish my family member (whoever it was.. from my own offspring to my 4th cousin's pet coon) personal success in the classroom, while hoping LSU spanks that arse on the field. Yea.. it's like that. Blee DAT!

Obviously you've sucked a lot of cock to be able to share this insightful take.

No suicide, but thanks for your input.

Here's an idea, Perhaps you could combine your two interests and choke yourself to death on a big cock?

Bolden is very good, but he is not a can't miss prospect at receiver. I still believe LSU will get Chase, Marshall, Jason, and Keys in the end.

One thing though about Bolden that says we may regret getting him later on is how he has gotten significantly better each season since his sophomore season--that year he did not play well.

My worry has always been with WM athletes is them tapping their potential early on because their coaching and strength and conditioning is so outstanding.

He's about to turn 19. Those other players have more upside athletically and they're probably a year and a half to 2 years younger.

Start a new Slade Bolden thread. Check out his highlights from Neville and Ehret. Kid plays at a whole different level.

Completely un true.
Had a convo with him during spades early recruitment.
He stated something along the lines of :
"lsu is has been slades dream school since he was 3. Until he (slade) realized he could go anywhere (jr yr), he had never considered anywhere besides lsu if given the opportunity.
JJ also stated that he changed his logo back to lsu bc it had been that for years, and he made it tcu when slade was a freshman. Bc he knew he was going places and didn't want people to think his lsu logo was hinting at something. Also that a few west monroe players were at tcu at the time.
He changed it back to lsu right before slade committed. And has kept it that.
He is actually an avid lsu fan but claims he is putting family first when it comes to lsu vs bama.
He is lsu thru and thru any other game"
His words. Check his history if you want.
