People acting like an incredibly talented 19 year old QB isn't fixable is retarded. Is Lagway my first choice? No...but writing him off at this point in his career is premature.

Agreed. I wouldn't be excited about it as I would be optimistic but theres a ton of risk with all these guys. Lagway had a better completion % than Sorsby did this year for whats its worth.

We can deal with a game manager. We can't deal with a turnover machine, which Lagway is. He makes terrible decisions throwing the ball and that's not something that's easily fixed.

He played in an offense that forced him to read and react a lot. Nuss was often put in the same position in Sloan’s offense. One of the best aspects of Kiffin’s offense is that it creates favorable matchups and opens up space. It makes the QBs job so much easier.

A guy like Lagway could rehab his career playing in an offense like this. I know we aren’t used to this anymore since it’s been a while since Joe Brady was here. I know those are two different systems, but they deliver similar results- favorable matchups and reads for the QB.

I am no Lagway fan but one third of his picks were thrown in one game courtesy of Bargin Bin Billy completely abandoning a run game that was semi-successful against us.

when 5 picks are 1/3rd of your pick total, that means you throw a shite ton of picks.

Lagway is garbage

Although he is really great at throwing to players wearing a LSU uniform, so he might actually thrive here

Think I’d rather run it back with MVB if that’s our option

I’m just gonna let the guy who made a D2 QB into a potential first rounder handle it how he wants.

The upside to Lagway: he certainly has experience throwing to LSU players.

Pretty much every highly successful LSU QB in the last 20 years was a game manager first that we gradually uncorked until they were elite. Hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube with a QB like Lagway.

Putting tooth paste back in tube not that difficult. If Lane Kiffin chooses Lagway, Im all in.

Just trust the process. Lane knows what he is doing.

I’d rather have Chester from AU.
