He's from Tennessee, Chavis has roots there and a great track record with LB's.

I touch base with ThaRinger every day, and they have had him going to LSU for a month, also one of many to name LSU as "crutin national champs" last year. Don't know where they get their info, but are pretty damn accurate....Geaux Tigers!!!

Congrats Tigers. I wanted Maclin to suit up for Alabama pretty bad, but Miles won this battle. I'll enjoy seeing how his career goes in Baton Rouge.

didn't Porter go to school with his dad or something? If so, THAT was the inside connection that made the difference most likely

Why is he the 11th best LB listed on Rivals? Not doubting any of you who say he is that good, cause I really don't know. Just happen to go to Rivals and saw him at #148.

Hes plays in Tenn, hes raw. Potential wise, hes a 5 star if that makes sense. Excellent athleticism and physical ability.
