This is the road through the Texas/ UGA / Bama's of the world.

Have to be elite on the DL, very exicting to see how this unit develops.

Hey wait, many on here said Kyle Williams wouldn't be able to recruit. Hail to the Old White Guys, Williams and Peoples.

You didn’t get that from me. I posted this earlier today:

With Kyle Williams coaching the DL, he is very knowledgeable about the positions on the line. Kyle spent 13 years with the same team. A 6 time Pro Bowler, his 48.5 Sacks are the most by a Bills DT. He’s been through a number of head coaches and position coaches. Has played in a 3-4 and a 4-3, played DT, DE and nose. There isn’t much he hasn’t seen.
I was invited to a breakfast by friends, the guest speaker was Kyle Williams, this was a couple years back. The place was packed, with young kids all the way up to the older guys. He captured the room. Just talked, didn’t have to read anything.

At LSU he spent two years under the tutelage of Pete Jenkins, so he knows the positions.

Kyle will do well, his love for LSU is shown in the way he talks

__________

I wonder about him. He comments are generally negative. He seems wallow in it.

I am getting pumped about the thought of returning to having a dominant Dline again. The other part is we have a chance to be dominant on the Oline if the recruits we have accumulated there show up on the field this year.

I hate to burst your bubble but Lamar said he hadn’t really talked to Kyle Williams that much at all yesterday.

Doesn’t matter. To be fair to everyone from every school and shut down all the comparisons, this was a nil recruitment just like most have been the last few years.

Only now with some effort to cap it and make it equal can we get back to some form of what we would remember as “recruiting” where relationships, traditions, coaches, etc mean anything at all and I, for one, can’t wait.

The path the nil shite was on was going to absolutely destroy cfb.
