They had a Louisiana State Trooper escort yesterday going to meet the Governor. They flew him around in a private jet to take care of his things on the East coast. You think they’ll not make arrangements with the school to have him be eligible if it’s a day or two late?

According to Zach Nunez on Twitter the LSU website says January 22 is last day to add courses

I can't speak for LSU, but I am retired and teach at a smallish college to keep from going crazy. As a professor, I can approve late adds of students well after the official date. I am sure this is much less of an issue for "amateur" athletes.

Athletes are special. They can register whenever and then drop even after the final

They ain’t come to play skool.
Let those that want to play Pro Football and have the athletic ability do so right out of high school, do so.
Let those that want a College Degree and aren't Pro-Football ready yet out of high school, do so.
4 years of Semi-Pro or 4 years and/or a Degree to be NFL Draft eligible.
Small salary for Semi-Pro.
Athletic Scholarship and small cash stipend for living expenses for College. (No NIL or any other cash payments)
Select one or the other with no flipping back and forth.

Am I mistaken that if they aren’t enrolled today we can’t sign them?
If both Prince and Seaton want to come to LSU, they'll have the rest of this week to enroll!

Regular spring semester is through January 22nd, I'm pretty sure.
There are two accelerated spring semesters, the later of the two is shown below and you can restister as late as March 20th I think.

We can still sign them.
No telling what’s going on behind the scenes but our top three guys could be out for the spring at this pace
They can enroll for the accelerated spring semester which starts March 20th.
But I would also assume the compliance office could also get the player in to the full spring semester if they commit and decide to transfer to LSU after the final day to enroll passes. I would just assume that's a possibility. Not positive on that though.

Random unrelated comment…. But one of my most-recurring dreams about school is forgetting to drop a class before the deadline to get a W.
Even though it never happened in real life to me, for some reason I dream about it frequently
Mine is a similar dream except my dream (anxiety nightmare) is that I enrolled in a class and forgot about it until sometime around midterms and suddenly am trying to catch up with no hope of doing so. I've had this recurring dream at least a couple times a year since high school. I'm now 37

Enrolling in the university date and course add/drop date are different
You enroll first (supposedly deadline today) and then you register your courses and you have until the 22nd or so to add or drop a course for the regular spring semester

My understanding is that late enrollment is allowed until the last day to add classes for credit for transfer students.
