I watched that video awhile ago (probably before you saw it or even knew who he was), and I think that he's overrated. I also think that you're new to this whole thing and that you haven't learned to base potential in relation to the competition that prospects are facing.

A.I've watched this kid since he was a freshman so I doubt you've seen him before me.

B.I'm the one that's new to the process? Yes, you've established yourself as a guru in your 50 posts since November.

To add to this, why isn't his competition questioned while BJ's is? Don't they both play in 2A? Evangel plays some truly horrible competition in district and most of the playoffs.

Doesn't Evangel play up in competition in non-district games?

Yes, they shouldn't question Evangel's competition.

Doesn't Evangel play teams like Calvary and John Curtis much less really good out of state teams every year?

decent, as in state champs? ok. Shiloh Christian has been a beast in Arky for a while now.

Thanks to Gus Malzahn. The current HC at Shiloh was the last QB that Gus coached at Shiloh before going to Springdale. That cannot be a bad thing for AU.

i gotcha.

Shiloh might could roll w/some of the 7A teams in that area on some nights...depth would be an issue, but they could scare a lot of folks.

Kyle Williams was barely over 300lbs and I would take 50 of him..i agree with you completely. speed, strength and instincts...by the way kyle made the pro bowl as alternate....dont know if hes gonna actually made it to miami.

Here is a little tidbit. Kyle's position coach at Ruston High is also Byran's position coach and DC. He says that Byran is better than Kyle was at Ruston. Better player and better work ethic. The offseason program at Junction City is the best in Arkansas in ALL classes. They have won the 2A and overall state weightlifting meet the last 3 years straight.

I think that Bryan Jones and Eric Thomas should be offered scholarships at LSU. Both fill a need and both are grossly under rated, especially Thomas.

I disagree...LSU should NOT offer Jones a scholarship...That way he can come to AU so we can pair him with Whitaker...I'd love to see somebody run against that duo...I go so tired of see our DTs last year (Blanc and Ricks) get blown off the LoS almost every play.
