I knew I was missing somebody, I think Chark gets pushed out but Upchurch could hold his spot down. My list was almost like a best possible scenario type list. If guys like Valentine and Street don't choose us then guys like Chark and Upchurch are safe

Don't see why we need to give a kicker as scholly unless he's an absolute stud

I think Santos is probably gonna be given the green light late in process like Duke Riley, Kevin Spears, Debo..etc If we miss on one of our targets. I don't think he gets in if we land Hootie and TB. Just an opinion.

There's a thread on the SEC Recruiting Board saying the most recent crystal ball predictions have Hootie Jones headed to Bama. I see him stepping into a starting role next year if he signs with LSU. How big of a loss will this be?

I honestly think Hootie ends up here. I remember early on there was talk of Hootie being extremely close to his mother and his mom's desire for him to play close to home. Also his mom does love LSU and Coach Miles. I don't think that changes jus bc Robinson decided to go to Alabama. Also, he consistently visits LSU and he was in Dallas checking us out at well.

Losing Hootie would be crazy... that just cant happen. NO ONE on our board comes close to being a replacement for him. So IMO he is a MUST have.

The staff knows how much of a MUST he is. Hell look at the safeties we have now, no playmakers and no football instincts. Hootie changes that for next year.

i would not say that; we had blown coverages. But they are a talented group of guys.

I want to believe that, but I am having a hard time believing it at the moment.

that's true, one of the guys that did that, had 4 new cb picks for Bama. They only have 5 spots open at the moment and he did not have picks for either Humphrey or Ronnie Clark, both of whom are 96% on the cb to Bama. I'm not sure what their class looks like right now, but would they use 4 of their last 5 spots on DB's including 3 safeties?

so nobody think we have a prayer with Adoree.
I know rumor has it that Fl leads, but he wants to visit (likely the Fl game)...could happen.

I believe that to be the case as well. When CROB pronounced his love for Bama he said the next top target is Hootie and it's pretty much a done deal. Then 3 days later I heard Hootie was talking to a handler near his HS.

Some have said his mom is a big factor in his life and wouldn't let him anywhere near a Bama handler. We'll see...but I would guess it's pretty much a done deal he is Bama bound.
