a quarterback can still be effective and lose some mobility.

what's to say he loses any mobility or athleticism at all? Kwon AlexaNDER and Davon Godcheaux don't appear to have lost any mobility. Is it a given that the outcome of these surgeries will be less mobility?

Also are players that have had this happen more prone to have these type of injuries again? So far so good for Davon and Kwon, but I wonder how it works out statistically these days.

Good chance that it will have no effect at all on his future as a QB at LSU

They both suffered one knee injury. He has now suffered a clear tears in both knees. He'll more than likely lose some athleticism, but hopefully that gets him to work more on accuracy, playing from the pocket, and reading defenses.

I had ACL surgery at 38 years old, and that was 15 years ago. My knee is 100%. I lost nothing at all except a little time.

And it didn't impact my NFL career at all!

Usually takes 2 years to fully recover from an ACL, but most of that is mental, so it depends on the individual(Some 6-9 months). So, if he has this year, and a redshirt year, its theoretical that he will be 100%, and not lost a step by the time he's ready to roll in College.

Is #8 the guy that used to play DE for LSU a few years ago?
#8 is a kid who i really hope gets into this class. He WILL get on the field here if he isnt hit with the injury bug again. He will contribute.
