What 2026 class members haven’t signed yet?

It's really tough to say. LSU doesn't really do much of an official confirmation. This year we've gotten closer to that than any year in the past and it was just the LSU Baseball Recruiting twitter handle re-tweeting guys saying they signed. I think I counted 7 or 8 guys that tweeted something, but some guys just aren't as active on twitter so getting a number on signed vs unsigned is nearly impossible, and the specifics of the players beyond that is probably actually impossible.

Big and extra strong left-handed hitter, fast hands and outstanding separation in his swing, high ceiling hitter with some athleticism.

He does look a bit like a shorter Jared Jones.

We’ve turned up the heat on a couple guys lately. My guess is juco pitcher Major Osbolt

ETA: Parker Leoff and Jose Partida are also possibilities. And Dominic Santarelli.

These were my guesses on who the tiger emoji was for. Obviously it was Santarelli, but I was way off on Leoff. He committed to UCLA today. We are still on Partida and Osbolt as far as I can tell.

Not really, it looks like Osbolt has visited or is lining up a visit. But we don't get a lot of coverage on this kind of thing so it's hard to tell.

I love the pitching, but it's always great to see a strong hitting position player come in.

Tennessee's S&C coach is following Vitello to the Giants.

This is a pretty big loss for them.

Tennessee just had a 2027 decommitment. A RHP out of the Houston area. I believe his last name is Kilpatrick.

Really hope LSU will retain Clauss, ruckert, Patrick, and Braun for the 2027 season instead of them going to the portal

There is a lot of playing time to be had in the 2027 season

ETA only talking about position players

We were on him prior to his Tennessee commitment, which was only just a few months ago (but during the Giants talks, IIRC). And we're on him now, with some more follows joining the party after his decommitment.

Rumors are that Curiel fractured his ankle in weight room. 3 month recovery would be Feb.

Who's reporting that?

The thread on the rant yesterday was anchored, but someone had mentioned it in the BPB thread the day before as well.

Any actual reporting is getting swallowed up by the Lane Kiffin situation. So I wouldn't expect anything on it until either this weekend if they have the P&G World Series or when Jay does his press conference.

That's the only place I saw it. You'd think there would mentions of it elsewhere (twitter, etc) if it has any substance but who knows.

I reached out to a BR sportscaster who covered Sunday's scrimmage and he hadn't heard anything about it. Was supposed to text coach and see if there was anything to it. Of course the Kiffin hysteria likely has been keeping anything other than that from being brought to the forefront and he hasn't replied back to me with any info.

Like us though, he didn't see Derek in the dugout that day. And none of the scrimmage regulars noticed him on Friday either.
