Brian Williams is good, but those highlights are against 15 year olds this past summer. He played 15 under AAU when he was a soph. instead of playing his age. Brian is still a good player though. If he develops a better 3 point shot and gets a little quicker he will be a great SEC level player.

Tarheels, your logic is shaky, to put it kindly.

First you say:

quote:

Trent Left with 3 minutes to go in the game and after he left, Galloway exploded for 23 straight points including overtime over a period of 6 minutes. TJ messed up by leaving.

Then, in reply to someone making light of your 3 minute observation, you reply:

quote:

Him being offered and called is meaningless. He won't go to LSU.

Let's walk through this slowly. "Trent messed up by leaving early" from LG's game yet LG "won't go to LSU."

Here's the deal, if LG's won't go to LSU anyway, how did TJ mess up by leaving LG's game 3 minutes early?

Easy, because if LSU was really serious about him and if Lang was serious at all about LSU then by TJ leaving, it shows that he has little or no faith in LG being a player and not stepping up in crunch time, which he did.

that is a huge stretch of logic right there.

it really just shows that he probably had something else that he needed to do and needed to get out of there. By already having offered him, he has obviously already seen enough out of the kid to warrant an offer without having to watch those last three minutes.

to say he left because he had no faith in him as a player is absurd. He didn't go there to pull for the kid's team to win, he went to scout the kid.

Are you here just to flame or do you have credible info? This board wasnt made for outsiders to come and make fun of LSU. If yo uare credible fine, but to come here and start a pissing match is ridiculous. If you info is good why defend yourself? The truth will come out down the road.

You seriously wont even tell us who is recruiting him? Wow, your a douche.

Ill have to tell Trent Johnson the bad news and to quit wasting his time since he wont go to LSU because there are alot bigger and better schools contacting him.

And you are a professional?

Wow.

Guys, the answer is in his name. He's trying to say he's going to UNC. You can tell by how adamant and short he is about LSU being a possibility.

Anyone who's ever followed recruiting knows that kids can change their minds about where they want to play very quickly. And, anyone who "gets paid to write about it" definitely should know. Only a fan chooses to be so blind as to not consider this.

Somebody finally figured it out. I was talking LSU all along and was playing devil's advocate the whole time. LG loves LSU otherwise he wouldn't be there all the time. Great shot of him being a tiger. I talked to TJ the other night just before the game and he is excited about his chances witht the 2010 class being special. He talked about how Ludwig and Dotson will help right away, more so Dotson, and how in 2010 he will be able to get 4-5 players and maybe all from Louisiana.

Trent is a great guy, first class and nice to have in Baton Rouge. LSU will be in a final four at least once by 2012.

That's not very nice, it's too easy to cause immediate catastrophe syndrome on here and get everyone in a tizzy. Sounds like good news though, Trent definitely seems like he is up for the job and possibly signing LG is definitely a step in the direction we want to go in.

Yea I know but the response that got was so good I had to let it go on until this morning. LG=LSU savior for 2010

You don't have to understand them. But, they are a top 25 team, they just don't know it yet

Did TJ mention adding anyone else in this class like a big man or another wing player to replace Reese, I really thought they would go after Trenton Marshall being a juco stud and a local boy.

Didn't talk much on it. He mentioned the big Russian from florida, and also mentioned Renardo Sidney, Marshall, and some I forgot. But he is in the right direction
