These playoffs really work against portal recruiting. Leavitt will check out Miami, but how much attention can they give preparing for a Natty. Being a title contender doesn’t mean what it did 10 years ago. It’s more about money.

I found the QB rating chart for 2025.
1.Maivia, USC 90.0
2.Mendoza, Indiana 89.5
3.Sayin, OH ST 88.4
4.Pavia, Vandy 87.2
5.Chamblis, OM 86.8
11.Sorsby, Cinn 81.5
30.Nussmeier, LSU 71.9
49.Leavitt, ASU 65.9
Not exactly impressive for Leavitt 19 spots behind nuss.
