well, since little said he would announce on 11/4 then he would be the next LSU commit.

Allen has feet of stone. I think LSU can do better. I would not be said he went elsewhere.

I just want to know if there are in booms coming soon from this past weekend or are these big time recruits pretty much commited to Lsu but just enjoying the process of waiting to announce at the all star games.

any big time recruit who has held out this long will most likely wait for the AA games.

Wouldn't be surprised if little pushed his announcement back.

I get the feeling he isn't coming but of all the recruiter we have, Grimes is the one that has the big surprises. Teuhemas in the final hour was amazing.

If he pushes that back, we might have a shot.

I doubt we get him but I could be wrong. I don't have any info on this just a feeling.

FWIW, I was responding that Little intends to announce on Nov 4 - not that he will commit to the good guys. I think he's still a tough pull.

Agree.
Ensminger deserves a ton of credit for the Teuhemas. I'm sure it was a group effort but Ensminger got the ball rolling.

Yes they can, but Allen is a big OLinemen. A position you always have a need at. Hell, LSU signed the Savage kid who is said to be a project. He will be alright once he gets there and gets in the system to be trained to a Olineman.

I think the hate for Ensminger has died down for a couple of reasons lately. His recruiting efforts are becoming more evident and BDP is on the staff. I personally like Ensminger being on the staff though. Extremely good talent eval guy and has a ton of connections.

I thought I heard today on Buddy Songe show that Rashaun commited but didn't want to go public. Has anyone heard anything close to this? I came in on the arse end of the conversation, but the Tiger bait guy and Buddy were talking about the spots left and the Tiger bait guy said he didn't know when Rashaun wanted to go public

I wish we would respect his wishes. I don't want to lose out on a recruit because some idiot in the media decided to run his mouth.

We need Willie Allen! He is the top OL prospect in the state. He is raw and certainly needs work. Nothing wrong with a project. He has tons of potential. His run blocking is not an issue and that is LSU's bread and butter.

yeah i agree but if the school is right for you. a leak will not stop your from attending. We are in the age of information at our fingertips.

I can see it ruining his big announcement but to say I aint going there is poo poo.

Unless he committed to Les and Steele in a office and said it doesn't leave this room. then he can say it was an integrity issue.

A leak can upset the program more so than the recruit in some cases. Perhaps the coaches have some other agenda if a recruit is silent and under the radar and would like to keep it that way until they and the recruit feel the time is right??
