With the deadline to enter the portal closed, I wonder if he made it in. Haven’t seen anything. Sorry if I missed it.
If the drama at OM wasn’t resolved in time, does he get an extension of sorts, since he declared his intention to enter well ahead of the deadline, ya reckon?
I’ll hang up and listen.

He had until midnight to notify the school that he wanted to enter the portal, as I understand it. He did that. The school not submitting it is a whole other issue.

Correct. I think the school has 48 hours to submit the paperwork after the player informs them.

The school has 48 hours to enter the paper work after being notified by the player that the player wants to enter the portal.
Clemson’s top portal signee was the ACC freshman defensive player of the year. He was at Cal last Fall. Entered the portal. He committed to Clemson in early January after visits. He signed a contract with Clemson. He enrolled in school and attended classes this week. He participated in team meetings this week. He apparently told Dabo last night at 9 PM he wanted to re-enter the portal. He and his family told Clemson he’s had multiple discussions with Golding this week and OM was doubling his NIL offer (after losing the LB to LSU). There was no formal announcement of his entry into the portal yet because the paper work hasn’t been formally submitted. But he is “in the portal” as Clemson has until Sunday to file the paper work. The Clemson site reported he is no longer on Clemson’s campus and is now in Oxford.
