He probably had the last one right. Reportedly, Leavitt was going to sign on his visit and the Williams stuff threw chaos into it. So, they likely thought they had him in the bag until that happened. The timeline checks out based on what was reported. I think the only reason LSU didn't have Leavitt ahead of Sorsby was due to Leavitt's agent. They probably had questions alongside his injury.

You misunderstand what a source like Philly is. He's not nostradomus. He is telling us what LSU sources are saying. A recruit could tell LSU he is all in while also telling Texas, Tennessee, and Oregon the same thing. Philly would never know that, he would only know his LSU source told him that the recruit is all in.
So yes Philly and others we have had like him in the past do get stuff wrong but its not really on them if you understand the landscape. They are just relaying what the LSU side is saying, they have no clue what the actual recruits are thinking. They can't control if a recruit lies to our staff.
It was a huge problem during the O era because he liked to corner recruits in his office until they would commit or silently commit. The sources would say we got a guy, and then they would decommit or just commit elsewhere when they were a safe distance from O.

No problem, but people called him out on the CCB for it, and if he's paying for premium site info and bringing it here, who cares. Just own it and not pretend to be something you are not.

these mouthbreathers can't fathom that... to them, if it's not EXACTLY what the "insider" says, then they are lying, or they don't know shite, or they are a fraud... etc... b/c it's easier to do that than it is to accept that someone, other than them, is closer to the program than they are, and the jealousy that ensues...
like i said yesterday, or the day before... maybe he is an insider, maybe he ain't... i really don't give a shite... but the ones so obsessed with saying "HA!. HE WAS WRONG" about one of the details, however insignificant it may be, are fricking ABSOLUTE losers... what they do is what they are accusing him of doing... yet they are too fricking stupid to see how fricking idiotic they are, and how that does more harm than good, in the long run, b/c other "insiders" see that treatment and immediate write off sharing their info here, b/c god forbid one thing they say is not 100% correct...
