I'm hoping that Jones has been recruiting him as if he'd offer him scholly independent of football.

In case y'all missed it:

Junior Highlights

My question is how good is the RB they have there? Because I swear every time they run the read option, those defenses collapse on the RB instead of Seals-Jones

I hope so as well. I know Trent was recruiting him that way at least as far as what was reported. RSJ certainly thought so. If basketball is that serious to him then we could see quite the battle between both sets of staff from all the schools. The basketball side bleeding into the football side. We all know how Baylor operates in basketball recruiting. I'm pretty sure TAM has some skeletons with their basketball recruiting and I also feel pretty confident Barnes isn't clean either. That side of recruiting is much different than football. Football is pretty slimy but basketball is downright filthy. Should be fun to watch play out particularly if the basketball side of his recruitment picks up.

Without a doubt Texas will let him play basketball, but honestly the way it all went down, I think he's done with Texas. This has obviously been a concern for some time and they have not changed their stance on the matter. I'm sure Ricky gave them ample amount of time to change their minds, and I beleive this is why he did this in person because it is for real. In my opinion Texas will have a lot to do to get him back.

Not sure, but Kennedy has always seemed like a decent guy, my brother knows him a little from his previous stops in Louisiana.

If he ends up here...do we send a WR on their way? I have a hard time believing we'll take 4 WRs in this class.

RSJ will play TE eventually given his frame. Hard to believe he won't put on the weight once in the Moffitt program.

I have never been the guy that puts recruits ahead of guys already in the program, but with that said.. Fobbs, Armand, and maybe even Turner and possibly Boone could be leaving. Especially with us taking a juco.

He's already decomitted because a school wouldn't let him play BB, you think he'd have a problem telling a coach he's not playing TE?

You don't make the #1 wr in the country play TE, similar build to DBG and he won't sniff TE.
