Is it true Leavitt entered the portal with a Do No Contact tag? If so, sounds like he knows he'll be going to one of a few schools he has in mind. That's if he hasn't already decided between the schools he's visiting. Makes me wonder if he already has an agreement with LSU in place and that's where the smoke around his name last week came from.
I'm not crazy about him with his injury. I understand he'll probably be available for the start of the season, but he won't be available for spring. Would be nice to get a QB who can come in and practice during the spring since it's a new system being put in place. That said, if they feel he's the right one, then I hope we get him.

His stats aren’t eye popping, but he did get hurt early in the season and tried to play through it before shutting it down. He has CFP experience and has been coached well by Dillingham. I think Lane can tap into more of his ability once he gets healthy. He’s also a guy that can use his legs which is necessary in today’s game.

Thanks. You also answered another question I had in my previous post as regarding the do not contact. 
The DNC makes me wonder if his agent already has a deal in place with those schools. I know there was smoke around him going to UK, but that's hard for me to see. With the current state UK football is in and where Arizona St is now, that would be taking a step down. And doesn't Oregon already have a QB for next year? If so, that would also be a weird place to transfer, but I could be thinking about another program.

Leavitt's 2025 stats extrapolated to 12 games:
2790 yards passing, 17 TD, 5 INT
525 yards rushing, 9 TD
TOTAL: 3315 yards, 26 TD, 5 INT
Jayden Daniels 2022 stats through first 12 games:
2566 yards passing, 15 TD, 2INT
740 yards rushing, 11 TD
TOTAL: 3306 yards, 26 TD, 2 INT
No one here was calling JD5 "mediocre" before the 2023 season

Yes, it is true. LSU was also linked with him early on when that news came out.

Chambliss got to Ole miss in June and look what Lane did with him. Rest him in spring and he will be ready to go in Fall. He has played a ton of football. It is not like he is fresh out of high school and has to catch up.

If memory serves me correctly, I don't believe Joe Burrow participated in the 2018 spring football practices after signing with LSU...that turned out pretty good...
