he literally committed to play here?
Are you talking about the supposed verbal he gave 5 days ago?

Why are we assuming his uncle didn't want him to come here after he literally committed to play here? Because Miami, Oregon and Miss st fans say so?
Do the Moo State fans really think they had a chance to land this kid? No amount of money can make Starkville and a shitty football program any but a crappy town and an even worse football program.

Proves JS wanted to be here. Works for me.

So let’s see.
1. Seaton stayed longer than he was supposed to.
2. We got a tiger emoji that never materialized.
3. We got the #blindside from CLK on the day everyone was expecting a commit.
That’s a lot of circumstantial evidence that leads me to believe that Seaton committed.
Had credible reporting that ALL schools felt they were being led on.
Can’t completely blame unc without doubt, but certainly seemed like there were some “less than good faith” negotiations going on.
That’s what the optics look like.

Past tense.
As such, why should anyone care?

“Butt-hurt also-rans” refers to the Miami and Oregon youtubers who are ripping Seaton and his uncle because he picked LSU. So you are correct, never change.

All the people in media were saying Seaton wanted to come to LSU. But his uncle was the one holding things up and wanting him to take the Oregon visit. It's not that hard to see the uncle was trying to control the kids decisions.

You hear it all to often about people like this, these kids aren't old enough to understand any of this they just see money, and the leach arse uncle tried to get in on it, now all his social media post are gone really a piece of shite

Here's what we know:
• What we do know is JS is very close to his family. Relationships there seem strong.
• We do know that, after LSU, JS was expected to visit Eugene, a place he'd previously been.
• We know his weekend LSU visit went well enough that he extended into Monday, and canceled the UO stent.
• We know, at that point, he was contacted by his family (presumably encouraged not to commit without at least hearing what UO had to offer) and told to "come home" --- a message shared on IG.
• We know JS met with Lanning and A'lique Terry in Atlanta. Subsequently Kiffin met with him there as well.
• We are told by Moscona that at least one other program put out a "Godfather Offer," one that significantly exceeded LSU's. Speculation about that ranged from Miami, to Oregon, or even Texas.
• We know JS eventually committed to LSU.
Anything beyond that is speculation.
E.g., we don't know that the uncle took, or proposed to take, a single penny for his services.
We don't know what the differential between LSU and the other programs was.
Good advice in such circumstances would be to consider all offers/opportunities before committing, a premise JS appeared to shirk when he declined to visit Eugene. What role the uncle played beyond that is simply a guess.
Why make it a negative presumption?
What purpose does that serve?

How is it unwise to review all of ones options.
If can leverage the circumstances to your advantage, you consider doing so.
I don’t get the hate.
Nonetheless, the dude is a Tiger, so…let’s ride.

He was offered top dollar. It wasn't like LSU was low balling him. All signs point to his Uncle trying to be the bag man when there's no need for that anymore. All reports were Seaton wanted to be at LSU but the Uncle didnt want him to commit. The Uncle is the diva and at a certain point the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Hopefully Seaton has someone else to get advice from moving forward.

Seaton had posted his uncle’s name and email on his X account to direct all inquiries to him. His brand marketing agency website is still up, but it doesn’t seem like his personal brand as an agent was managed very well, does it?

I have a little experience with uncles during recruiting. Uncle Mike was involved with Justin Hunter, WR who was an amazing 6' 4" athlete out of Virginia Beach. Mike was a nice guy, not pushy, but def had his hand out. Derek Dooley ended up getting him and I was in the room when $$$ were discussed. Unfortunately, Dooley and Justin were off in the corner making their deal, and started yelling in jubilation. Justin turned out to be really good in college and the NFL, until he was badly injured.
Sadly, we had him until DJ McCarthy was let go for a ridiculous recruiting violation. Oh well, seems like a lot of uncles around...
