Shaq and Penny weren’t all that close in Orlando. He basically called him Fredo after winning the title with Wade. He called Kobe Sonny but that isn’t nearly as insulting.
I can’t imagine Shaq and Penny are that close right now.

Shaq didn’t like penny or Kobe taking the spotlight away from him when both were becoming superstars. He always wanted to be the man and the leader of the team. That was his downfall with both players.

He can play the 3 or the 4. His best game this season he had 11 points and 8 boards. He hasn't gotten a lot of PT. He committed to Zona before changing his mind and going to UCLA. Steve Alford recruited him then got fired at the end of last season. With Juwan Howards son recently committing to Michigan (power forward) plus another 6-10 kid already signed, i dont see Michigan being in the picture. He and LeBlanc up front would give us a really nice frontcourt duo in 2 years.
