This reeks of an Ole Piss planted story

Sorry but CLK is the playbook not Weiss, let him go, we have OC/HC
I don’t get the impulse to shite on Weis here.
Kiffin may be the originator of the scheme and playbook, but we’ve seen up close the difference between good and bad playcallers. That’s a skill all its own and it’s very clear Kiffin trusts Weis to handle this.
For example, Denbrock put up our 2nd best offense in history and then went to ND and got them to the championship game. Sloan kept a lot of that same playbook and terminology and couldn’t do shite with it. His ineptitude as a play caller put a low ceiling on an offense with a lot of talent.
Weis has proven to be a very good playcaller. You don’t want your head coach focusing that much on one side of the ball and managing the entire game if you can help it. It would be a good thing to have Weis for one season to help get the ship right here before replacing him.

He certainly did a good job game planning for a much-improved UGA defense and tore them up. He had their offense ready and called a great game in a high pressure spot. I don’t think that can be dismissed out of hand.
They scored 45 on em earlier in season

The Giants are not going pay his his buyout.
There is no buyout if he takes a HC or NFL job.

Would he even make much more as a NFL OC than at LSU?

Only a couple OC's in the NFL make more than $2.5 million.
And then he'd have to pay New York taxes.

Yes, and UGA’s defense played progressively better and better after that game to close the season. It’s a big reason why everyone was picking them to win.

It's entirely plausible that Kiffin was collaborating with Weiss during the UGA game preparation.
