I’m still perplexed how LSU didn’t even offer him. I’m not some HS player analyst, but just by watching a few pieces of film you could see the attributes of a great RB - they jumped off the screen. He will be playing on Sundays.

yeah, he was a pretty well known commodity amongst those who follow recruiting... my guess is they figured he'd topped out in HS and didn't have much room for improvement above where he currently was...

His brother went to Vandy and then transferred to Colorado. Will be interesting to see if Nate uses that Duke education to make a smarter decision than his brother. Family isnt fans of LSU, so LSU would have to make a really good impression.

Ole Miss offered him. I wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up there. LSU didn’t even try. I’d love to see him in the P&G, but we may not even have a shot.

I swear to God they are only looking at star rankings from On3, Rivals, etc. The evaluation for Sheppard was pretty obvious if they just watched a few of his games. He had all the attributes 2 years ago.

Didn’t a lot of people on here want LSU to recruit Sheppard last year because he was really underrated? They were right apparently.
