What other schools are interested in Longstreet? Curious to see where he ends up.

Has to be Tennessee and Miami, I’d think.

Tennessee, Miami, Oregon IF Moore declares

Oregon got the Nebraska kid, but I’m sure they’re still interested. If he wants a more guaranteed start, he’s looking at Tennessee and Miami.

None of these schools can guarantee starter offer Longstreet.

Miami has more room on depth chart.
I don’t see why Tenner is hot after QBs considering how well they’ve recruited it past few years + Aguilar still has possibility of returning.

Oregon will let him battle it out with Raiola. Tennessee and Miami will lose their QBs and have unproven talent as well.

Longstreet also has the option of withdrawing from the portal and going back to USC. That’s probably not a bad option for him as well.

He’s gonna have to go low G5 or maybe even D2 to find a place that his talent just exceeds all roster QBs and they have no returning starter. He may find a P4 to like Miami or Vols that have no returning starter but he’ll have to win the job against QBs of possibly similar talent that already know the system. IMO he got bad advice, paid well and USCw was high on him. He should’ve waited his turn.

UNC with Max Johnson would seem a place Longstreet could go and beat out easily the presumed starter.

Max transferred to Georgia Southern

That’s right, what does UNC have currently?

Tenn or Miami is what I'm seeing. Miami is trying to pull Ty Simpson from the draft as well.

I think Oregon if Moore leaves, Miami, Tennessee, and re-signing at USC all make the most sense.
Oregon got Raiola, but Longstreet could compete and beat him out
Miami loses Beck but has a good backup that Dawson likes alot
Tennessee has nothing and they don't think Aguilar is going to get the waiver, so this might look real good
USC was expecting him to complete with the returning starter and possibly beat him out.
If he's willing to sit and develop, then add LSU into the mix.

They just got Billy Edwards from Wisconsin. But he’s lower tier. Completely different type of QB. Not sure Longstreet is looking for the UNC type of offense. Could be wrong.

Actually at his age, his best bet is to study under LK/Weiss and get some serious QB tutelage without wear on his body and he gets stronger physically and mentally. If leavitt is injured, he will be in a battle with Clark for starting at LSU. If Leavitt has a good year, then next year Clark/Longstreet will battle out for #1 at LSU. We saw what happened at OM with Chambliss not being day one starter, but getting his chance and showing out. Same scenario could happen to Longstreet if he would choose LSU. LSU needs him and he needs LSU coaching.
Hope he gives this some serious consideration. Playing and potentially getting injured could severely affect his chance for a big pay day when that day comes. It is not now.

Agreed, that’s a situation he should be looking for to have best chance to start but they aren’t gonna guarantee the job. He was probably getting north of 1 million to sit at USCw, learning under LR and was one injury or some bad play away from being QB1. They were very high on him.

Agree, hopefully this works out for LSU and Longstreet. Never say never, if Longstreet puts some good tape out this season we could well circle back to him for 2027.

I agree, no guarantees on Leavitt’s injury and one complication or re injury during the season of being the guy. Having said that if he’s adamant about walking into game one as the starter he may have to humble himself and look at lower tier programs. Tennessee and Miami or both possibilities but he’ll have to win the job against talented but unproven backups.
