Yep. I remember laughing at a friend of mine when he suggested in around 2000ish that he thought we were just a few years from a NC. Now, I expect to be in the running every year.

In 2003, LSU hosted Georgia and broke the all-time single-game attendance record for a game in Tiger Stadium.

Today, that game is 40th on the all-time list.

You think it's changed that much in 10 years? Go back 20 for some real change

LSU was coming off a 2-9 season

4 straight losing seasons

Cheap

No investment in facilities or much else

2-14 vs ranked teams since 1988
