catch a ground ball

Anybody that played college ball wouldn’t say that. It’s “fielding” a ground ball

Have you ever played baseball? Or do you just type on keyboards? Although there is some truth in what you say, why start a post on it. We have faith in the coach. Best players will play.

The post wasn't about Jay. He shouldn't be questioned. The post was about there being no excuse for Dar Dar making 2 routine errors at an easy position.

A postion that we even let John Pearson get reps at in the Fall.

That's why it's harder than 2B

Maybe, but 2B is not the easiest position to play! That was your original statement.

If I go fungo you some balls right now, that opinion would change very quickly. The amount of ground you have to cover is insane.

DH one year and 1st the next

Now I now you are trolling. The only defensive position easier than DH is 1st base. Probably a reason you played both.
