I was sitting behind the endzone behind the play...panicked that we were going to run a draw...punt...and squander the lead. Our D was gassed...it was hot and neither team appeared to be able to stop the opposing offense. Then...it magically happened. We went for the first down...got the TD. I too was celebrating with the few P&G clad folks in the lower bowl. On the way out of the stadium, an elderly LSU fan (look to be in his 70's or higher) complained to me that we didn't run the ball enough for his liking.

We watched in disbelief as the prehistoric Lsu offense looked like a well oiled machine lead by Joe Burrow. The defense on the other hand looked gassed because the offense was scoring to fast.Who would have ever thought an Lsu fan would be saying that lol.It was that play that Coach O and LSu nation knew that we had something special at The QB position.

I knew this wasn't an LSU offense that I had seen in my 50+ years of watching games in person ...we where in lower bowl 40 yd line surrounded by Longhorn fans that where in disbelief..they where stunned...I told them that if they take care of Oklahoma then there was good chance we could meet again in Playoffs and bust your ase good on a neutral field and perfect playing conditions. I was so looking forward to playing them this year....
