quote:Agreed, but this doesn't mean that one couldn't be at night as well, right? I mean, Florida could still lose to Auburn this Saturday and our game with UF is already committed for the 7pm slot but then that would only make the Auburn game even more compelling should we both win out until then and hopefully garner another primetime game.
I’d rather have Auburn at night but I’ll gladly take it.

The SEC wants so desperately for the Jimbo/Saban theme to come true.
About as much a forced thing as Harbaugh/Meyer. Its not going to happen!

In 2011 ESPN got their payback in the form of having #9 LSU vs. #3 South Carolina on their network.
At no point in 2011 was LSU ranked as low as #9. I know CBS and EsPn cut a deal one year but not the scenario mentioned.

That was 2012 week after we lost to Fla. It was in Tiger Stadium they had Lattimore at RB and Clowney on DL

GameDay options:
Texas State Fair
Penn St @ Iowa
USC @ Notre Dame
FSU @ Clemson (likely ABC primetime)
oklahoma vs. texas
i would say that is the probable game day location, but you are right an undefeated florida vs. undefeated lsu will probably be neck and neck with that one.

at this point lsu/auburn is basically 100000% for 2:30 kickoff. the sec schedule that weekend is abysmal.

Fall Fest may continue as planned, GameDay may just move to The Quad as they've done before.
It was in the quad last year, right?
That’s where the Bama booty toucher happened.
I was so scared y’all, he was gonna kill all of us.

Florida needs to chicken out of this game.

That usc game was in the 2012 season. It was payback for the 2011 flex. Should have specified.

quote: There's some chatter that CBS gave up this one to ESPN in hopes to negotiate putting Bama/LSU in the primetime slot in November. My brother works for a marketing firm for the CBS Sports corporate office. The LSU/Auburn game is still being talked about too. Basically if LSU get's by Florida and State they'll give LSU/Auburn to ESPN too to get Bama/LSU n the primetime slot. Mizzou/UGA would be your early game on 11/5.
If this has any legs which for fricks sake we hope it does..... All three of our big games will be night games!!!! If the chips fall this way I believe we are in the four. Florida and Auburn underneath the lights in TS. Bama in T-Town at night. Unbelievable if this happens.
