I don’t even really know how these points y’all are trying to make have anything to do with our current situation.

I guess you’re trying to say Myles won’t be a NFL caliber QB. I really don’t care. It still doesn’t mean he’s not the best option. Don’t underestimate how important decision making and ball protection are to Kelly. And he can get the ball down the field. Mac did it. Myles can do it. There are other factors besides athleticism.

If Kelly didn’t think he could run his offense, he wouldn’t be here.

I mean it’s not that hard to go back and see what you said and how I responded. But OK. Doesn’t sound like there’s much reason to continue arguing then.

Me and the dude were joking around about Brady having Lamar’s athleticism. I committed that the modern great QBz like Burrow and Allen are mobile

I am so over these incorrect threads. They're just laughable at this point. Stop trying to discuss X's and O's

another football ignorant ranter as always

the read for a RPO and the read for a ZONE READ/READ OPTION are both different reads.

Ennnnh the 1st level RPO and Read Option are kind of the same play. I can run any run concept away from the multiple WR side and bubble the inside receiver. Or I can run a quick screen with the outside receiver. I read the end man on the line for the give/keep, and if I keep I can read the man covering the slot for to decide if I'm running or throwing it out to the bubble. This would be a Jayden Daniels kind of play and still falls under the RPO umbrella, even through its technically a triple option play. You can turn it into a 2nd level RPO simply by changing the read to the backside LB and having the slot run a slant and OR run a 5 and in. Point being: RPO can be run on all three levels of the defense.

Playaction is hard to distinguish if the QB shows a read action, which is almost always the case in an RPO offense. RPO plays won't have a #2 or #3 progression, even with 3rd level RPOs. So if a QB pulls it down and runs when there's no pressure, it's usually because the read wasn't there.

How do so little of our fans not understand what an “RPO” is?
