It appears to me that D1 is using this other streaming platform this year in an attempt to essentially disclaim any liability for streaming quality issues.
And perhaps the new platform is being used because it has the bandwidth to ensure those issues don't occur.
Regardless, paying $30 and then having to cast the game from another device to the television is outlandish.
I will be listening to the games instead.
