I am happy Miles is staying but largely agree with the OP. I did not see a reason to give a big extension or raise at this juncture to a coach who was already near the top of the compensation ladder. A very good result for Les but still not a bad result for Tiger fans.

It is clear that most of you have only signed the back of payroll checks and never the front. Good business move plain and simple. The market is what it is.

He was close to the top of the compensation ladder, but closer still to the top of the results ladder. Hence, a raise to make them equally close.

I'll give it to Miles.....He got the best of Alleva and the gang....Miles is a good businessman and Miles is a good coach.....People don't get what im saying.....Im not bitching that miles is still here im just stating the fact.......Miles bluffed and Alleva was too scared to call it.
