I didn't like AC when he was Mr. Tulane Greenie & CPM was the one quoted re letting AC keep the stolen base that broke the greenie record in his LSU office. That is no rumor or story, it is a fact. Now he's at Miss. State, where presumably he will stay for a while. Possibly not. But he was only at LSU for 2 years, building his resume' which I am ok with, so why all the love for a former greenie & current Moo St. bulldawg. He remains close to the players, not the program, not the school, certainly not CPM. He is no LSU Tiger & I could care less what he does in the future, I have no reason to wish him well.

Do any of our coaches, players or fans really have any love for Paul?

He's not with us...so he's against us...frick him.

Im indifferent on all the drama around him leaving. However, I will say this:
AC was a scout for the New York Yankees. I think he made a significant impact in our team with regard to hitting and recruiting. I think PM is more upset about losing a guy that he knows made a difference... (i.e. made PM look better than he is).
It is going to be very interesting couple of years.
Does State trend up, start to out recruit LSU and hit better?
Does LSU feel the loss and regress in hitting? Do we lose a step in recruiting?
I'm going to enjoy watching this unfold. AC obviously has an eye for hitting and talent and we will see if PM can step up his game.

Snake Oil salesman do that. He speaks with fork tongue.
What pissed people off was he was the douche that LAUGHED AT 1 in the morning when the crowd booed him all along he knew it pissed them off.
That's John Cohen Douche 101.
He was, is and always be a Greenie that you can't trust so
him and MSU and Tulane

AC gets a lot of cred for his recruiting. Do you not understand that those 3 letters across his chest, LSU, had a lot to do with his recruiting success? And don't forget, CPM was also involved in all elements of LSU's recruiting, too. He'll have the money, facilities, and tradition at Moo St. so let's revisit this in 3-4-5 years.

Lots and LOTS of pitching....sometimes two or three pitchers an inning.
Ball ONE! (Change pitchers...)
Ball TWO! (Change pitchers...)
Repeat as necessary.

And how many times have we complained about PM leaving pitchers in tooooo long?

Well, considering a lot of the team PM is coaching has a lot of AC in it, and the team that AC is coaching at STATE doesnt have a lot of AC in it yet, you are kind of making my point for me. It's pretty clear AC has had impact there already with many of those hitters... do you disagree?
And that's why I said it will be interesting to watch the next 3-4 years. Is AC overrated? Or was he the backbone to help turn LSU around? Is PM legit or is he benefitted from Dunn and AC. I think we will have a good debate on this subject in a few years.
And since you like saving posts, save this one! I will enjoy discussing it with you in a couple of years :)

Regarding the rest of your epistle....nah.

Funny to see all the posters on here that have turned on him. When he left for MSU most people wished him well and even until a few months ago, he was well-thought-of. Sad to see him being disliked by so many now.
The same fans shite talking him right now are the same ones that would have belt buckle scrapes on their forehead trying to suck his dick if PM were to leave/retire.
I was pissed at him during that game, but I was just tired and ready to watch us dogpile.
AC did a helluva job making supers his first year at State.

Russian,
You and I both know if AC replaced PM, you'd be the first in line before the first coach's committee meeting ended.
Well you probably wouldn't because you would be cheating on Paul.

Explain.
I'm just curious.
I'm just messing with you btw.
I appreciate all you guys' insight on the baseball team.
Burned bridges?
You don't think AC is a good coach?
I'm not talking about next year. He wouldn't have an outside shot in 3-5 years of he got State to Omaha once or twice?

At least Andy didn't cost us a bowl win because he was on the phone with Kevin Sumlin when he should have been game-planning and preparing to coach a game.

People that got pissed at AC for the pitching changes is dumb to me. He wanted to let guys get in the game that wouldn't have otherwise.
As far as leaving, I'm sure he could have did it better but there is rarely a good way to leave. It's just like when you are working a regular job, are you going to go to your boss and tell him that you are interviewing for a better job? If you tell them ahead of time and then it doesn't work out, they now know you're looking.
