I do wonder if they held off on the announcement to try to minimize the impact on players signing tomorrow. That doesn’t seem to be helping if it is the case, but it’s not a good sign if that was the reason. If he were definitely staying, they surely would have announced that to stop the bleeding. Best case is that he’s still trying to decide.
